These capabilities enable us to benefit throughout the value chain. Kerman Commerce Development Company (KCD) was established in an area with 24,000 m² in Kerman, Iran in 1991 and lunched the first full automatic pistachio processing line in 1993. Pistachio Planting, harvesting, processing, storage, grading, packing & export all are done in KCD using the most modern techniques guarantying that our pistachios meet the highest quality and food safety standards. Our products include Pistachio in shell, Kernels with skin & green kernels with different grades suitable for meat, confectionary & chocolate industries. Already about 700 people are working at KCD; that about 300 people work in the orchard and about 400 people in processing line , sales & marketing. We farm 200 hectares that deliver 500 MT of pistachio annually. KCD exports its products to the Persian Gulf & neighbor countries such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE & India and has a big market share in Europe, Canada & Russia and planning to export and earn market share in Japan & Australia in near future.
